Middle Betting Calculator
Short Explanation of Middle Betting in Sports
A “middle” in sports betting occurs when you place two opposing bets on the same event with overlapping lines, creating a range of outcomes where both bets can win simultaneously. This happens when the lines from different sportsbooks shift, allowing you to exploit a gap between them.
Example:
Bet 1: Team A +3.5 (you win if Team A loses by ≤ 3 points).
Bet 2: Team B -2.5 (you win if Team B wins by ≥ 3 points).
If Team B wins by exactly 3 points, both bets win (a “middle hit”). The “middle range” here is 1.0 (3.5 – 2.5), meaning any result within this range guarantees profit from both bets.
