System Bet is in fact an accumulator (named also as ACCA) , used by many bettors to cover themselves or to reduce the loss in case one or more selections from their whole accumulator loses, avoiding this was the total loss of the stake.

What is a System Bet ?
System bets involve bets on multiple games at once, with higher potential of success and relatively minimal risks. In fact, a system bet is a type of betting system where you only need a few of your selections to win , for you to still be in advantage, to partially win or, not lose the whole stake that you bet on the acca.Â
A system bet is less risky than a normal accumulator, but, in the other hand, the total odd, and total possible winnings are smaller, in case of ALL selections are winning.
At origin, a system bet is a mixture of several accumulators bets, that can be placed manually , until some point. If your accumulator contain more than 4-5 selections, things get hard for different combinations of same parlay , so bookmakers offer this opportunity called system bet , to do the permutations and calculations for you. There is a minimum of three events on your betting slip to enable a system bet. Usually, bookmakers offers the possibility to place between 3 and 8 selections on your system bet accumulator, and newer betting systems allow punters to use even 10-12 or 15 selections.Â
Â
How Does a System Bet Work ?Â
Â
Let’s say you want to add 4 selections on your betslip. You select different events, and combine them. After that, a pair of possible outcome will be created by combining your selections. You will decide how many selections you want to have each accumulator . The odds of each pair of possible outcomes are calculated by the system by multiplying the individual odds that you choose.
So.. in this example, you choose 4 matches to play on whole accumulator., as bellow :
In this example, we can see that you can choose several options. Single bets, Double, 3 selections, 4 selections, Yankee – 11 selections.
Let’s say we prefer to play doubles, this means , if we have 4 total selections.. that we will have 6 total combinations, so , as we decided to risk 1 unit on each combination… total payment for this parley in system, will be 6 units ! Total odd IF all 4 bets are winning it will be 19.25 / 6 , so 3.2 odd. This is A LOT smaller than normal accumulator, which gave us a total odd of 10.2 . But, even if we will lose 2 games from 4 , we still don’t loose the whole total stake of 6. Even more, if we loose only 1 selection, we’d still have a profit, probably with odd around 2
You can also notice if you play the 3 selection betting system, we’ll have a total of 4 combinations, so we will stake in total 4 units. The total odd will be 5.73 in this case, but we will have to lose only 1 selection to get even and recover the stake. If you will lose 2 selections, we will lose all 4 units.

Types of System Bets
Â
The system bet 2 out of 3 (2/3)
With the system bet 2 out of 3, three bets on any events are selected and combined to form a system bet. All possible pairs of two are created from these three picks. These bets result in three possible pairings and thus three accumulator bets in a system bet. To win , AT LEAST 2 bets must be won.
The system bet 2 out of 4 (2/4)
With a 2 out of 4 system bet, four individual events are combined into a system bet slip. All possible 2-way combinations are formed from the four tips. A total of six accumulator bets are made. To get even or take a small loss, at least 2 selections must win. If 1 selection is lost, you get some profit.
Example, as in explanation above : Picks A, B, C and D. The following accumulators are formed: A + B, A + C, A + D, B + C, B + D and C + D.
The system bet 3 out of 4 (3/4)
With the 3 out of 4 system bet, four individual events are again combined to form a system bet. In contrast to the 2 out of 4 system bet, three picks are always combined with the ¾ system. There are only four accumulator bets formed in total. At least 3 selections must be won in order to get even.
Example:Â Picks A, B, C and D. The following accumulators are formed: A + B + C, A + B + D, A + C + D, B + C + D.
The system bet 3 out of 5 (3/5)
In a 3 out of 5 system bet, also known as a 3/5 system bet for short, five different events are selected in order to create all possible 3-way combinations. With a 3 out of 5 bet system, 10 different 3-way combinations can be created from these distinct five events. To get even or take a small loss, at least 3 selections must win.
